2013 - This million dollar plus waterfront home on Salt Spring
was a marathon of a project as I did the whole finishing project by myself, which took about 4 months, and was completed in the late summer of 2013. The Home was designed by Schubart, a famed local architect now deceased, but obviously inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. I repainted the entire interior but the biggest challenge here was to restore these laminated cedar veneer beams, which many had odd compression marks or improper sanding techniques. But in the end, it all looked pretty amazing thanks to careful sanding and "Tung" oil.
